Work Experience
Lead Visual & UX Designer (Cognizant)
As Lead UX Designer, I drove design strategies for various products, enhancing user satisfaction and engagement. I collaborated with cross-functional teams, led a team of six designers, and ensured design consistency and best practices. My role included defining project goals, conducting user research, and creating high-fidelity prototypes that improved user engagement. I also developed Design Systems from scratch and managed RFPs and POCs with a zero-defect rate.
Sr. Visual & UX Designer (Cognizant)
I spearheaded the redesign of specific product or website, leading to increased user retention. I facilitated design workshops and sprints to align stakeholders on the design vision and goals. By integrating user feedback throughout the design process, I ensured the final product effectively met user needs.
What My Stakeholders Says
Testimonials
I worked with Chandra when he was an employee at McRaan Software, and was assigned to a group that supported the web development efforts of our US-based marketing agency. Of all the employees we worked with at that company, our whole team loved working with Chandra. Why? First, he was an excellent designer who really came to understand the visual sentiments and preferences of an American-based audience, and so delivered very visually powerful website designs. Second, he was process-savvy. One of our biggest struggles with overseas resources is a challenge in executing an efficient and effective process. Very few “get it” but Chandra certainly did, and he fit in just as if he was a member of our team sitting here at the next desk in our office. Finally, his attitude and optimism were truly contagious, and his can-do spirit made our team a better one than we would have been without him. For that reason, I would choose to work with him again in a heartbeat and highly recommend him to any company seeking high quality visual design talents packaged in a top-notch professional.
Hard working and talented, with years of experience in design I highly recommend him also he is one of the quickest person I have come across in terms of working on design tools.
Chandra Sekharam is a very dedicated person and has very good technical skills. I have been very happy with his work during the time of his association with me.
